Open the service cover (A) under the rear seat cushion.
Remove the rear seat cushion (Refer to “BD” group in this WORKSHOP MANUAL).
Open the service cover (A) under the rear seat cushion.
Turn ignition switch to off position and disconnect the battery (-) cable.
Disconnector the fuel sender connector (B).
Disconnect the fuel feed hose (C) and the return hose(D).
Cover the hose connection with a shop towel to prevent splashing of fuel caused by residual pressure in the fuel line
Lift the vehicle.
Disconnect the fuel filler hose (F), and the breather hose (G).
Unfasten the two mounting bolts(A) and the two mounting nuts(B), and then remove the fuel tank from the vehicle.
