Is the DTC erased ?
YES
a.
Substitute with a known-good Powerseat ECU and check for proper operation.
NO
a.
If the problem is corrected, replace Powerseat ECU and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
Connect scantool to Data Link Connector(DLC).
Ignition "ON" & engine "OFF".
Substitute with a known-good Powerseat ECU and Check if the DTC is erased .
Is the DTC erased ?
YES
Substitute with a known-good Powerseat ECU and check for proper operation.
NO
If the problem is corrected, replace Powerseat ECU and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
Connect scantool to Data Link Connector(DLC).
Ignition "ON" & engine "OFF".
Substitute with a known-good BCM and Check if the DTC is erased .
Is the DTC erased ?
YES
Substitute with a known-good BCM and check for proper operation.
If the problem is corrected, replace BCM and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
NO
Check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
