Monitor the "FR HEIGHT UP(DOWN) SW " Parameter on the Scantool. While operating front height switch.

Connect scantool to Data Link Connector(DLC).
Ignition "ON" & engine "OFF"
Monitor the "FR HEIGHT UP(DOWN) SW " Parameter on the Scantool. While operating front height switch.
Specification : Refer the specifications in fig2)
Is the measured current data within specifications?
YES
Go to " Check front height motor" procedure.
NO
Substitute with a known-good front height switch and check for proper operation.If the problem is corrected, replace front height switch and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
Connect scantool to Data Link Connector(DLC).
Ignition "ON" & engine "OFF"
Select "ACTUATION TEST" mode on scantool and press [F1] to start
Dose front height motor work properly?
YES
Go to " Check front height sensor" procedure.
NO
Substitute with a known-good front height motor and check for proper operation.If the problem is corrected, replace front height motor and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
Connect scantool to Data Link Connector(DLC).
Ignition "ON" & engine "OFF"
Monitor the "FR HEIGHT POSITION" Parameter on the Scantool. While operating front height switch.
Specification : Refer the specifications in fig5)
Is the measured voltage within specifications in fig5)?
YES
Check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
NO
Substitute with a known-good front height motor and check for proper operation.If the problem is corrected, replace front height motor and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
