Monitor the "PA. MIRROR UP(DOWN) SW " Parameter on the Scantool. While operating right outside mirror switch.

Connect scantool to Data Link Connector(DLC).
Ignition "ON" & engine "OFF"
Monitor the "PA. MIRROR UP(DOWN) SW " Parameter on the Scantool. While operating right outside mirror switch.
Specification : Refer the specifications in fig2)
Is the measured current data within specifications?
YES
Go to " Check right outside mirror motor" procedure.
NO
Substitute with a known-good ADM and check for proper operation.
If the problem is corrected, replace ADM and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
Connect scantool to Data Link Connector(DLC).
Ignition "ON" & engine "OFF".
Select ‘ACTUATION TEST’ mode on scantool and press [F1] to start.
Dose right outside mirror motor work properly?
YES
Go to " Check right outside mirror sensor" procedure.
NO
Substitute with a known-good right outside mirror and check for proper operation.If the problem is corrected, replace right outside mirror and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
Connect scantool to Data Link Connector(DLC).
Ignition "ON" & engine "OFF".
Monitor the "MIRROR VERT. POS" Parameter on the Scantool. While operating right outside mirror switch.
Specification : The furthest left → Approx. 1.0V,
The furthest right → Approx. 3.5V
Is the measured voltage within specifications in fig5)?
YES
Check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
NO
Substitute with a known-good left outside mirror and check for proper operation.
If the problem is corrected, replace left outside mirror and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
