Disconnect the battery negative terminal.
Remove the engine cover.
Remove the air duct (A).
Remove the air cleaner assembly.
Disconnect the Air Flow Sensor (AFS) connector (A).
Disconnect the breather hose (B).
Disconnect the ECM connectors and then remove the air cleaner assembly (C).
Disconnect the knock sensor connector (A, B), the RH ignition coil connector (C) and the VIS connector (D).
Disconnect the LH injector connectors (A, B, C), the LH ignition coil connector (D) and then remove the wiring harness protector (F).
Disconnect the MAP sensor connector (A), the ETC connector (B) and the PCSV connector (C).
Disconnect the brake booster vacuum hose (A).
Disconnect the PCV hose (A) and throttle body coolant hoses (B).
Remove the surge tank bracket (A).
Tightening torque :
18.6 ~ 23.5Nm (1.9 ~ 2.4kgf.m, 13.7 ~ 17.4lb-ft)
Remove the surge tank (A).
Tightening torque :
9.8 ~ 11.8Nm (1.0 ~ 1.2kgf.m, 7.2 ~ 8.7lb-ft)
Disconnect the injector connectors and then remove the delivery pipe assembly (A).
Tightening torque :
8.8 ~ 13.7Nm (0.9 ~ 1.4kgf.m, 6.5 ~ 10.1lb-ft)
Remove the intake manifold assembly (A).
Installation is reverse order of removal, with specified torque as below.

Step 1(a~h): 3.9~5.9Nm (0.4~0.6kgf.m, 2.9~4.3lb-ft)
Step 2(1~8): 18.6~23.5Nm (1.9~2.4kgf.m, 13.7~17.4lb-ft)
When installing the gasket on the cylinder head, check the identification marks (LH/RH) to ensure proper installation.
