Connect scantool to Data Link Connector(DLC).
Ignition "ON" & engine "OFF"
Monitor the "SLIDE FORWARD(BACKWARD) SW " Parameter on the Scantool. While operating powerseat silde switch.
Specification : Refer the specifications in fig2)
Is the measured current data within specifications?
YES
Go to " Check powerseat silde motor" procedure.
NO
Substitute with a known-good powerseat silde switch and check for proper operation.If the problem is corrected, replace powerseat silde switch and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
Connect scantool to Data Link Connector(DLC).
Ignition "ON" & engine "OFF"
Select "ACTUATION TEST" mode on scantool and press [F1] to start
Dose powerseat silde motor work properly?
YES
Go to " Check powerseat silde sensor" procedure.
NO
Substitute with a known-good powerseat silde motor and check for proper operation.If the problem is corrected, replace powerseat silde motor and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
Connect scantool to Data Link Connector(DLC).
Ignition "ON" & engine "OFF"
Monitor the "SLIDE POSITION" Parameter on the Scantool. While operating powerseat silde switch.
Specification : Refer the specifications in fig5)
Is the measured voltage within specifications in fig5)?
YES
Check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
NO
Substitute with a known-good powerseat silde motor and check for proper operation.If the problem is corrected, replace powerseat silde motor and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
