Terminal and Connector Inspection
1.

Many malfunctions in the electrical system are caused by poor harness and terminals. Faults can also be caused by interference from other electrical systems, and mechanical or chemical damage.

2.

Thoroughly check all connectors (and connections) for looseness, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, and/or damage.

3.

Has a problem been found?

▶ Repair or Replace as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

▶ Go to the next procedure.

Power Circuit Inspection for height sensor
■ Voltage Inspection for Power Circuit
1.

IG key "OFF".

2.

Take off a wiring connector of Height sensor.

3.

IG " ON "

4.

Measure voltage between power wiring terminal of Height sensor connector and chassis ground.

Specification : 5V

5.

Is the measured value within specifications ?

▶ Go to the next procedure.

▶ Check a open of power wiring or shorted circuit for Height sensor.

▶ If there is no problem in Power circuit, Substitute with a known-good AFLS ECU and check for proper operation. If problem is corrected, replace AFLS ECU and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
