LIN (Local Interconnect Network) is direct communication system to low-cost for electric system of vehicle. AFLS ECU controls the position of headlamp by using LIN which calculates input signals of height sensor, vehicle speed and steering wheel position. Swivel Actuator controls left / right position of Headlamp, also ISM(Intelligent Stepper Motor) controlsup/down position of headlamp. Ballast supplies power to HID(High Intensity Discharge) Bulb. Ballast checks HID bulb lighting status and faulty, and then transfer the result to AFLS ECU via LIN Communication.

After being checked left ballast or lighting status of bulb, If the ballast or bulb did not operate in the normal condition, The AFLS ECU sets the B2463 code.
