Monitor GDS Status
1.

Ignition ON (SSB LED "BLUE") & Vehicle "STOP".

2.

Connect GDS and select "DTC Analysis" mode.

3.

Click "DTC Status" on the menu bar to view DTC information.

4.

Confirm that the "DTC Readiness Flag" indicates "COMPLETED". If not, drive the vehicle within conditions noted in Freeze Frame Data or Enable Conditions.

5.

Read the "DTC Status" parameter.

6.

Is parameter displayed "Present fault"? 

▶ Go to Next procedure.

▶ Check that there is any CAN related DTC and then, repair or replace as necessary. Finally, check that is possible to clear this DTC.

▶ Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor’s and/or Control module’s connector or was repaired and Control module’s memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Monitoring with a DVOM on min/max or VMI while wiggling connectors may help find the problem. Any change in voltage indicate a possible problem. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure

Monitor GDS Data
1.

Ignition ON (SSB LED "BLUE") & Vehicle "STOP".

Connect GDS and select "Data Analysis" mode.

3.

Selet "Current Data"mode and monitor "Brake Switch ON_NO" and "Brake Switch ON_NC" parameter.

Is the measured data within specifications?

▶ Go to "Terminal and Connector Inspection" procedure.

▶ Go to "Signal Circuit Inspection" procedure.
