Connect GDS to Data Link Connector(DLC).
Select "DTC" button, and then Press "DTC Status" to check DTC's information from the DTCs menu.
If DTC status is current condition, go to following procedure. And, if it is histroy DTC, erase it and check that MIL is ON again.
Pull and push EPB switch once then let it be in neutral postion and check EPB switch status from sensor output.

Invalid : EPB switch or connection wiring open circuit or short circuit happened, inspection needed.
Is parameter within specifications?
 | ▶ Fault is intermittent and caused either by poor contact in connectors or wiring harness, or it has been repaired and Control Module memory is not cleared yet. Thoroughly check terminal of battery, all connectors (and connections) for looseness, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, and/or damage. ▶ Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure. |
