Component Inspection

■ Check EPB Switch

Ignition "OFF".

Disconnect EPB Switch..

Measure resistnace between EPB Switch terminals.

measure 1	measure SW1 & SW4	connected	not connected
measure 2	Measure SW2 & SW3	not connected	connected

Is the measured Valule within specification?

▶ This fault may be intermittently caused by poor connection in the EPB switch. Go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

▶ This DTC may be intermittently caused by an unusual operation of EPB switch.

(switch is controlled too much, pulled or pushed for 90 seconds or pulled/pushed slowly)

▶ Substitute with a known-good EPB Switch and check for proper operation. If problem is corrected, replace EPB Switch and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
