If clutch S/W signal is ON, this signal is sent to ECM which monitors cltuch operation. That is used to monitor driving and shifting. ECM starts engine by controlling starter relay if clutch signal is ON at idle stop.
ECM sets DTC P0704 in case that the gear shifting signal is inputted more than 10 times but clutch signal is less than 2 times while vehicle is driving higher than 15km/h. The idle stop does not perform if P0704 is set.
