Connect GDS to Data Link Connector(DLC).

IG "ON" or ENG "ON".

Check if the GDS displays a fault code.

Using the GDS, check to see if there is any fault in the MDPS system.

If there is a fault in the MDPS system, repair the system as necessary. Select the LKAS system and monitor the DTC.

	▶ Replace MDPS with a working unit. If the replaced unit works properly, replace MDPS with a new unit, and then perform the “Verification of Vehicle Repair” procedure.
	▶ Repair as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
