Connect GDS to Data Link Connector(DLC).
IG key "ON" , Engine "ON".
Warm up the engine to normal operating temperature.
Monitor diagnostic trouble code and present of trouble code.
Using a GDS, Check if the same DTC re-sets after clearing DTC.
Are any DTCs present ?

Select Current Data in the "AAF"(Active Air Flap).
Check current after maintaining EV mode and engine idle status.
Active Air Flap Potentiometer Status --> 20% or 80% ± 5%

Is the displayed current output normal ?
![]() | ▶ Fault is intermittent and caused either by poor contact in connectors or wiring harness, or it has been repaired and Active Air Flap Actuator memory is not cleared yet. Thoroughly check all connectors (and connections) for looseness, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, and/or damage. |
