Electrical systems consist of a lot of harness and connectors, poor connection of terminals can cause various problems and damge of component.
Check damage of harness and terminals : Check terminals for contact resistance, corrosion and deformation.
Is the problem found?
![]() | ▶ Repair as necessary and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure. |
![]() | ▶ Go to next procedure. |
IG Key "OFF".
Disconnect A. A. F connector.
IG "ON" & Engine "ON".
Measure voltage between terminal A. A. F harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification : less than 16 [V]
Is the measured voltage within specifications?
![]() | ▶ Go to "Ground Circuit Inspection" procedure. |
![]() | ▶ Thouroghly check fuse status, poor connection, power supply line, bending, corrosion, contamination and damage. ▶ Repair as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure. |
IG Key "OFF".
Disconnect A. A. F connector.
Measure resistance between terminal A.A.F harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification : Approx. 0 Ω
Is the measured resistance within specifications?
![]() | ▶ Substitute with a known-good A.A.F and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace A.A.F and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure. |
![]() | ▶ Check for open or contact resistance in ground harness. ▶ Repair as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure. |
