Component Location

General Description

EGR cooler was installed to supply combustion chamber with more EGR to satisfy a law regarding exhast gas.

EGR cooler bypass vavle makes it possible to recirculate EGR gas to combustion chamber without cooling when EGR gas temperature is low.

DTC Description

P245A is set when EGR cooler bypass valve control circuit is open or short to ground for 0.5 sec.
