IG key OFF.

Disconnect 'EGR ACTUATOR' connector.

Check resistance between power and ground of EGR actuator position sensor. ('EGR ACTUATOR' component side)

Is the measured value within specification?

	▶ Go to "Check EGR actuator signal waveform" as follows.
	▶ Check EGR actuator, and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

Turn engine ON and check if engine temperature is 70℃.

Place a oscilloscope probe at signal terminal of EGR actuator.

Turn IG key OFF when engine coolant temperature is over 70℃.

Check the waveform right after IG key OFF.

☞ Open and close repeats 2 times for learning after IG key OFF and engine temperature is over 70℃ 3.9V when EGR valve is closed. 2.7V when open.

Is the measured value within specification?

	▶ Go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
	▶ Replaces EGR actuator, and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure. note In case of replacing EGR actuator , perform the "COMPONENT CHANGE ROUTINE" procedure with scan tool. If the "COMPONENT CHANGE ROUTINE" procedure has not completed until automatic learning completed, it may cause vehicle performance and exhaust gas problem.
