The TPMS is the acronym for Tire Pressure Monitoring System. This system monitors the pressure in the tires. If the pressure it drops below a certain amount, the TPMS ECU will turn on the warning lamp turn to notifying the driver. This system consists of TPMS ECU(or TPMS Receiver) and TPMS sensors. The TPMS ECU monitors the Vehicle's battery voltage to determine, as a safety issue, whether this system can operate normally. The normal battery voltage range is essential for controlling this system as intended.
The TPMS ECU monitors the voltage of battery and if it stays below a certain value, this DTC is set.
