Are the fuel quality, fuel tank and fuel filter normal?
 | ▶ If fuel quality is normal, perform "Suspected cause inspection" as below. |
 | ▶ Replace fuel. ▶ Repair/replace fuel system. |
Inspect traffic condition, driving habit, vehicle condition, external circumstances etc.
Inspect engine hesitation, poor power, poor acceleration etc.
If all item are normal, go to "Basic inspection" procedure as below.

If all item are normal, go to "Basic inspection" procedure as below.
Inspect fuel leakage visually from fuel tank and fuel pump mounting point.
Inspect fuel quality and inside of fuel tank after removing fuel pump.
Check contamination of fuel filter and foreign substances in the fuel filter.
Are the fuel quality, fuel tank and fuel filter normal?

| ▶ Replace fuel. ▶ Repair/replace fuel system. |
▶ Go to "Cooling fan" inspection procedure.
▶ Go to "Alternator" inspection procedure.
