To detect the clutch position in manual transmission vehicle for DAR(Drive Away Release) function.
EPB ECU sets DTC if clutch sensor signals are wrong.
Item | Detecting Condition | Possible Cause |
DTC Strategy |
•
clutch sensor signal monitoring | 1. Faulty Clutch Sensor signal 2. Faulty Clutch Sensor |
Enable conditions |
•
In only MT case, and C1613 DTC isn't detected.
Threshold value |
•
When the sensor power voltage is out range, 5±0.5V, for 500ms
•
The clutch sensor 1 output is out the spec. range for 1 second.
•
The clutch sensor 2 output is out the spec. range for 1 second.
•
Mismatching the measurement and the calculated value of the clutch sensor output for 2 seconds.
•
During the 5 times both driving more than 60KPH and stop, no clutch sensor signal is changed.
Fail Safe |
•
Automatic release function inhibited |
Test Item | With releasing pedal | With stepping on pedal |
Clutch 1 signal | 0.5 ± 0.3V | 4.5 ± 0.3V |
Clutch 2 signal | 0.25 ± 0.15V | 2.25 ± 0.15V |
