Install a clamp-on ampere meter at "BATTERY"(-) cable.
Start the engine. Keep all lights and accessories off.
Run the engine at a speed of about 2,500 rpm and read the voltmeter when the alternator output current drops to 10A or less.

Are the measured voltage value and current value normal ?

 | ▶ Check electrical accessory installation. ▶ Check tension of the alternator belt. ▶ Check battery terminal and B+ terminal of the alternator (tightening condition and corrosion). |
