Monitor change of current data while idling and accelerating.

■ Reference data

Fig.1) Normal current data at idle : Data is changed in 45℃~70℃ by the 0.8℃ after warm-up.

→ If sensor data is changed by above 2℃ rapidly, sensor performance should be inspected.

→ If data escapes from 45℃~70℃, check coolant and cooling system.

This current data is nothing but an example at certain condition. Thus, the real current data could be different from this example.

2.

Is the displayed current data normal?

▶ FTS is normal.

▶ If FTS data is above 80℃, check driver's the driving habit.(vehicle is driven long time continuously or a lot of high load is applied)

▶ The fuel temperature can be high at poor engine cooling. Inspect ECTS data and check/repair as necessary the cooling system.

▶ If it is determined performance degradation/failure of FTS, check/repair FTS.
