Monitor GDS Data
1.

Connect GDS to Data Link Connector(DLC).

2.

Diagnose EPB with GDS for DTC and state information.

3.

If it is historic DTC, delete DTC and check whether fault lamp comes on again.

4.

If DTC is active, check and repair CAN related DTC then check whether C1103 is raised again.

5.

When there is no CAN related DTC and it is active DTC, perform procedure below.

6.

Start engine and turn the headight and the heatwire on.

7.

Monitor the "BATTERY VOLTAGE" parameter on the GDS.

8.

Maintaining ENG. RPM at 2,500RPM(idle) over 2 minutes.

Specification : Approx. 9~16V

9.

Is the battery voltage normal?

▶Fault is intermittent and caused either by poor contact in connectors or wiring harness, or it has been repaired and Control Module memory is not cleared yet. Thoroughly check terminal of battery, all connectors (and connections) for looseness, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, and/or damage.

▶ Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

▶ Go to "W/Harness Inspection" procedure.
