IG "OFF" and connect GDS to Data Link Connector(DLC).

2.

IG "ON" and erase the DTC kept on the GDS.

3.

Start engine.

4.

Execute the EPB latching function by pressing the EPB button or by the GDS.

5.

Using GDS, Check DTC present

Is the same DTC shown?

	▶ Substitute with a known-good EPB ASS'Y and check for proper operation. If problem is corrected, replace EPB ASS'Y and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
	▶ This fault may be intermittently caused by poor connection in the HECU connector or was repaired and HECU memory was not cleared. Go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
