Ignition switch "OFF"

Disconnect battery (-) cable.

3.

Refer to "Shop Manual" and disconnect exhaust gas temperature sensor (T4) connector.

4.

Measure the resistance between signal terminal and ground terminal of exhaust gas temperature sensor (T4).

Specification :Refer to table below

Is the measured value within specification?

▶ Refer to "Shop Manual" and inspect the flywheel.

▶ If no problem is found on flywheel, replace the Oxidation Catalyst Converter Assembly and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

▶ Refer to "Shop Manual" and inspect the flywheel.

▶ If no problem is found on flywheel, replace the Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor (T4) and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
