Circuit Description | |
A permanent magnet motor operates each of the power windows. Each motor raises or lowers the glass when voltage is supplied to it. The directionthe motor turns depends on the polarity of the supply voltage. The power window main switch in the driver door module controls the operation of all the power window motors. | Each power window switch controls it's own power window motor and has two opposite relays controlled by ETACM or door modules. If the window lock switch is depressed(LOCK), the passenger power windows(assister door window, rear left/right door window) can not be controlled by their own window switches. However, they can still be controlled by the power windowmain switch. |
