Circuit Description | |
The ETACM and Driver/Assister door module control the operation of the door lock actuators. When the ETACM and door modules receive signals (for instance ,the door lock/unlock signals, ignition key switch signal, etc), the modules calculate the conditions and then ground the appropriate relay. The ignition key switch input prevents the the doors from accidentally being locked when exiting the vehicle with ignition off and the key left in theignition switch. | Battery voltage is applied at all times to the door lock/ unlock relay through fuse 24. When locking the vehicle by using the lock/unlock switch in the driver door module, battery voltage is supplied to the door lock actuator through door lock relay contact. When the lock/unlock switch in UNLOCK, the polarity of the voltage applied to the actuator is now reversed and thedoors unlock. |
