Circuit Description | |
For the visibility of driver, the daytime running lights go on automatically when the engine is running. When the ignition switch in ON, battery voltage is applied to the head lamp relay coils and daytime running lights (DRL) control module. As the DRL control module detects the generator running signals, ground is provided to the DRL relay. Battery voltage from DRL fuse is then provided to the lowbeam head lamps through the DRL relay contact. | In addition to the DRL relay control, the DRL control module controls the tail relay(built-in DRL control module) coil. Battery voltage is appliedto the closed contact of tail relay and the exteria lamps turn on. When the DRL module detects engine running OFF signal or light switch ON(PARK or HEAD) signal, the DRL control module turn off the lights. |
