Open the glove box.
Lower the glove box down completely by removing the glove box stopper to the lower crash pad.
The purposes of the air conditioner filter which is installed in between the blower unit and evaporator is to prevent the entrance of the pollutedair from outside and to purify the internal air.
The air conditioner filter is a particle filter which stains out dirt.
Replace air conditioner filter every 20,000km.
However, the duration of the replacement can vary according to the condition of the environment.
In case the outlet air to the passenger compartment reduces greatly, have your filter inspected.
Open the glove box.
Lower the glove box down completely by removing the glove box stopper to the lower crash pad.
Remove the glove box mounting bolts (10mm, 2each), and screws (2each) from the glove box assembly and then detach the glove box assembly.
Remove the right lower crash pad mounting bolts (10mm, 1each), and screws (2each) from the right lower crash pad and then detach the right lower crashpad.
Disconnect the luggage compartment lamp connector.
Remove the under cover from the blower assembly with pushing the cover toward the floor.
Remove the air conditioner filter cover.
Replace the air conditioner filter with a new one and reinstall all removed components in reverse order.
