After inserting spacers, insert and tighten a nut securely.
Place the alternator and insert a support bolt (Do not insert a nut this time).
After pushing the alternator forward, count that how many spacers (a spacer thickness : 0.198 mm) should be inserted between the alternator frontleg and front case as shown in "A".
After inserting spacers, insert and tighten a nut securely.
Remove the generator cover using a screwdriver or equivalent.
After loosening the 3 mounting bolts, detach the brush holder assembly.
Remove the nut, pulley, and spacer.
Put on gloves to protect hands during working.
Cutting the stator coil lead line connecting to the rectifier may damage the generator beause the rectifier and the statorcoil lead line are soldered together. So, do not disassemble further.
Reassembly is the reverse of disassembly.
