Circuit Description | |
The transaxle control module provides precise gear shift timing and torque converter lock-up by controlling the operation of the automatic transaxle solenoid valves RED solenoid valve, low & reverse solenoid valve, damper clutch control solenoid valve, over-driver solenoid valve, 2nd solenoid valveand under-drive solenoid valve. | The TCM controls the operation of these six solenoid valves based on input signals from the various sensors (for instance, A/T pulse generatorA,B) and the sport mode & shift limit switch signal. The transaxle control module has a built-in self diagnostic feature. Refer to the Shop Manual, section ATM, for details. |
