REMOVAL
1.

Remove the engine cover, battery and tray.

2.

Remove the air cleaner assembly.

3.

Remove the control cable.

4.

Disconnect the speedometer sensor connector.

5.

Disconnect the transaxle range switch connector, solenoid connector, and oil temperature sensor connector.

6.

Remove the oil cooler hose.

7.

Separate the power steering column shaft from u-joint.

8.

Separate the power steering oil pressure hose and the return tube from the gear box.

9.

Attach the special tool, engine support fixture, (09200-38001) to the engine hooks.

10.

Remove the transaxle mounting bolt and bracket.

11.

Remove the upper bolt of the torque converter housing.

12.

Lift up the vehicle and remove the tire.

13.

Remove the muffler.

14.

Remove the drain plug and drain the automatic transaxle fluid.

15.

Remove the gear box, stabilizer bar, tie rod end, lower arm ball joint, and drive shaft.

16.

Install the jack for removal of sub-frame.

17.

Remove the subframe mounting bolts and the subframe.

18.

Remove the starter motor.

19.

Remove the bell housing cover.

20.

Install the jack for removal of transaxle.

21.

Remove the front roll supporter.

22.

Remove the rear roll supporter.

23.

Remove the automatic transaxle assembly by jack.

1.

Engine and transaxle mounting insulators should be installed as specified orders.

T/M mounting bracket.

Rear roll supporter mounting bracket.

4.

Front roll supporter mounting bracket.

3.

When installing the front roll supporter mounting bracket, be especially careful not to crush the insulator. If crushed, idle vibration may occur.
