Rfemove the back up lamp.
Remove the trunk lid trim.
Remove the trunk lid latch and main wiring.
Tightening torque |
7-11 Nm (70-110 kg·cm, 5.1-8.0 lb·ft) |
Rfemove the back up lamp.
Remove the tail lamp.
Remove the trunk lid hinge mounting bolts and then remove trunk lid.

Remove the torsion bar by using the torsion bar wrench (09861-22000) as shown in the illustration.
Installation is the reverse of removal.
Adjust the striker up or down, and right or left until the trunk lid is flush with the rear edge of the body.
Adjust the trunk hinges up or down, and right or left until the gap is flush between the lid and body.
Turn the lid bumpers either clockwise or counterwise to adjust the height of the trunk lid.
