Remove the luggage compartment trim.
Open the fuel filler door and remove the fuel filler door opener.
Check for continuity between terminal 1 and 2. If there is no continuity replace the fuel filler door opener.
Check the switch for continuity between the terminals. If the continuity is not as specified, replace the switch.
