Is Electric EGR control valve component resistance within the specification?
 | ▶ Go to "Check Potentiometer resistance" procedure. |
 | ▶ Replace EElectric EGR control valve and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair". |
IG KEY "OFF", ENGINE "OFF".
Disconnect Electric EGR control valve.
Measure the resistance between power and control terminal of EGR actuator connector (component side).
Specification : 8.0 ± 0.5 Ω (20℃)
Is Electric EGR control valve component resistance within the specification?
| ▶ Go to "Check Potentiometer resistance" procedure. |
| ▶ Replace EElectric EGR control valve and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair". |
IG KEY "OFF", ENGINE "OFF".
Disconnect Electric EGR control valve.
Measure the resistance between power and ground terminal of EGR actuator connector (component side).
Specification : 4KΩ ± 40% (20℃)
Is EElectric EGR control valve component resistance within the specification?

| ▶ Replace Electric EGR control valve and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair". |
