Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
Remove the console assembly. (Refer to the Body group - Console)
Disconnect the yaw rate & lateral G sensor connector (B).
Remove the mounting bolts (A).
Tightening torque:
4.9 ~ 7.8 N.m (0.5 ~ 0.8 kgf.m, 3.6 ~ 5.8 Ib-ft)
Installation is the reverse of removal.
Register zero value of Longitudinal G sensor within the Yaw-rate for calibration to ESP to perform HAC (Hill Assist Control) function.
Calibration must be performed as following cases.
Calibration failure.
Yaw-rate and Lateral & Longitudinal G sensor replacement.
HECU replacement.
DTC codes (C1285 Longitudinal G sensor not calibrated) detection.
IG ON, ENG OFF.
Stand the vehicle on a flat ground without any inclination.
Max. allowed inclination angle(A): ± 0,57° (1%)
Set the steering wheel at the center position.
Keep the vehicle under normal tire pressure condition and normal loading condition.
Connect GDS to data link connector (DLC).
Perform Longitudinal Sensor Calibration.
