Check the condition of "Steering Angle Sensor Calibration" by oprerating the vehicle (turn right and left at least 1 time)
Line up wheels like Figure 1.
Perform the wheel alignment.
Line up the wheel in a straight.
Drive the vehicle ahead and back 2~3 times without holding steering wheel.
Connect GDS to Data Link Connector(DLC).
Go in ESP system.
Perform steering angle sensor calibration. (figure 2).
Check the condition of "Steering Angle Sensor Calibration" by oprerating the vehicle (turn right and left at least 1 time)
Is "Steering Angle Sensor Calibration" completed normally?
 | ▶ Go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure. |
 | ▶ Calibration can be interruptted by related DTC occurred. If DTC presents, erase DTC and then perform "Steering Angle Sensor Calibration" again. ▶ Substitute with a known-good Steering Angle Sensor and check for proper operation. If problem is corrected, replace Steering Angle Sensor and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure. ※ In a case of replacing the Steering Angle Sensor, operate "Steering Angle Sensor Calibration" by GDS. |
