The TCCM makes decisions related to 4WD operation based on CAN communications received from the PCM, ABS, and TCM. The TCCM then actuates the Electromagnetic Clutch (EMC) using a duty cycle signal.
TCCU sets DTC P1728 if EMC control circuit is open, short to ground, or short to battery.
