The shift motor uses a 4-switch Position Encoder that provides motor position data to the TCCM.
Never disassemble shift motor. Because it causes that position encoder is misaligned with TCCM memorised setpoint. Therefore, it is never reusable after disassembling shift motor.
The TCCM will set DTC P1739 if the actual Position Encoder signal is different from the expected signal.
