Disconnect CAN communication units one by one and monitor DTC to find the cause.
Specification : Turned to pressed direction
Connect scantool
IG "ON" & ENG "OFF"
Execute "RH Outside Mirror (LEFT, RIGHT)" test.
Disconnect CAN communication units one by one and monitor DTC to find the cause.
Specification : Turned to pressed direction
Is motor working normal ?
 | ▶ Go to "W/Harness Inspection" procedure. |
 | ▶ Go to next procedure. |
IG "ON" & ENG "OFF"
After connect GDS, select "Current Date" menu.
Check whether "Assist Mirror Switch-Right" is turned to "Right or Left" when the control switch is pressed. (RIGHT, LEFT)
Specification : Service data is switched. (Right ↔ Left)
Is the service data normal?
| ▶ Go to "Terminal and Connector Inspection" procedure. If control line and power line from ADM are normal, replace an assist mirror motor(R/H). If control line is normal, but power line from ADM is abnormal, replace a ADM. |
| ▶ Substitute with a known - good ADM and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace the ADM and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure. |
