Has a problem been found?
 | ▶ Repair as necessary and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure. |
 | ▶ Go to "Left Taillamp Circuit Inspection" procedure. |
Many malfunctions in the electrical system are caused by poor harness(es) and terminals. Faults can also be caused by interference from other electrical systems, and mechanical or chemical damage.
Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
Has a problem been found?
| ▶ Repair as necessary and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure. |
| ▶ Go to "Left Taillamp Circuit Inspection" procedure. |
IG "OFF", disconnect battery (-) terminal.
Disconnect RAM connector.
Measure resistance between the Left Taillamp terminal of RAM harness connector and ground of the Left Headlamp High.
Specification: Approx. 1 Ω
Is the measured resistance within specification?
| ▶ Substitute with a known - good RAM and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace the RAM and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure. |
| ▶ Repair open in circuit of Left taillamp or Left taillamp internal open, and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure. |
