Loosen the drain plug, and drain the engine coolant.
Never remove the radiator cap when the engine is hot. Serious scalding could be caused by hot fluid under high pressure escaping from the radiator.
Remove the drive belt (A).
Remove the water pump pulley (A).
Remove the water pump (A).
Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
Loosen the drain plug and drain the engine coolant.
Remove the engine cover (A).
Remove the radiator grill upper guard (A).
Disconnect the AFS connector (A) and breather hose (B) and then remove the air cleaner assembly (C).
Disconnect the radiator upper hose (A) and lower hose (B).
Disconnect the heater hoses (A).
Remove the throttle body coolant hose & pipe (A).
Remove the RH coolant pipe (A).
Remove the LH coolant pipe and hose (A).
Remove the mounting bolts (B,C) and then remove the water temperature control assembly (A).
