Once IPM receives fog lamp switch working signal, it sends the signal to FAM by CAN communition. FAM turns on fog lamp.
This code is set when right front fog lamp circuit is shortted to ground for more than 150ms during right front fog lamp operating.

Connect GDS.
IG "ON" and engine "OFF".
Select "DTC Analysis" mode.
After erase DTC, keep the vehicle condition within "the enable conditions" (Refer to "DTC Detecting Condition" table).
Is the same DTC occurred again?

IG "OFF" and Connect GDS.
IG "ON" & ENG "OFF"
Select "Current Data" mode.
Execute "Right Fog Lamp" test.
Is Right Fog Lamp working normal ?

Many malfunctions in the electrical system are caused by poor harness(es) and terminals. Faults can also be caused by interference from other electrical systems, and mechanical or chemical damage.
Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
Has a problem been found?

IG "OFF", disconnect battery (-) terminal..
Disconnect FAM, Right Fog Lamp connector.
Measure resistance between the Right Fog Lamp terminal of FAM harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: infinity
Is the measured resistance within specification?

After a repair, it is essential to verify that the fault has been corrected.
Connect scan tool and select "DTC Analysis" mode.
Clear the DTCs and Operate the vehicle within DTC Enable conditions in General information.
Is any DTC outputted again?
