Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.

Remove the 2nd seat (Refer to "SEAT" in BD group).

Remove the fuel pump carpet and the service cover (A).

Disconnect the fuel pump connector (A).

Disconnect the fuel feed tube quick-connector (B) and the fuel return tube quick-connector (C).

Remove the left - rear wheel & tire and the wheel house.

Disconnect the leveling hose (A), the fuel filler hose (B) and the ventilation hose (C).

Lift the vehicle.

Support the fuel tank with a jack.

Remove the fuel tank protector (A) after removing the installation nuts/bolts.

Unscrew the fuel tank bank installation bolts (A), and then remove the fuel tank from the vehicle.

Installation is reverse of removal.
