1.
Disconnect the battery cables (A). (Negative first)
Disconnect the battery cables (A). (Negative first)
Remove the radiator grille upper guard (A).
Remove the air cleaner assembly (B) after disconnecting AFS connector (A).
Tightening torque :
7.8 ~ 9.8 N.m (0.8 ~ 1.0 kgf.m, 5.8 ~ 7.2 lb-ft)
Install a jack under the engine oil pan.
Make working space.
Loosen the LH engine mounting bolt (A)
Tightening torque :
8.8 ~ 10.8 N.m (0.9 ~ 1.1 kgf.m, 6.5 ~ 7.9 lb-ft)
Lift the engine with jack properly.
Remove the engine mounting bracket (B).
Tightening torque :
49.0 ~ 63.7 N.m (5.0 ~ 6.5 kgf.m, 36.2 ~ 47.0 lb-ft)
Remove the engine support bracket (C).
Tightening torque :
42.2 ~ 53.9 N.m (4.3 ~ 5.5 kgf.m, 31.1 ~ 39.8 lb-ft)
Disconnect the starter motor cable(A) from the 'B' terminal of the solenoid and the connector(B) from the 'S' terminal.
Remove the starter by loosening the two starter mounting bolts(A).
Tightening torque :
42.2 ~ 53.9Nm (4.3 ~ 5.5kgf.m, 31.1 ~ 39.8lb-ft)
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
