Measure the voltage between "ST" terminal of "STARTER" and battery (-) terminal.
■ Specification : B+
Remove "START RELAY #1" and "ST" terminal of "STARTER".
Connect jump wire directly to switch terminals of "START RELAY #1" on the "FAM".
Measure the voltage between "ST" terminal of "STARTER" and battery (-) terminal.
■ Specification : B+
Is measured voltage within the specification?
 | ▶ Go to "Start relay #1 control circuit inspection" procedure. |
 | ▶ Repair fuse open/poor connection. ▶ Check for open between "KEY SW2 FUSIBLE LINK 30A" and "START RELAY #1_ST power supply" terminal on the "FAM". |
Measure the voltage between "START RELAY #1_coil power supply" terminal and chassis ground at IG key "START".
■ Specification : B+
Is measured voltage within the specification?
| ▶ Repair/replace "START RELAY #1". ▶ Repair open/poor connection between "START RELAY #1_coil power supply" terminal and chassis ground. ▶ There are possible causes as below. Click on each item for more details. "ST signal", "Immobilizer" |
| ▶ Check "BURGLAR ALARM RELAY" and "START RELAY #2". ▶ Repair inhibitor switch(A/T) or Ignition rock switch(M/T). ▶ Repair open/poor connection between "START" terminal of the "IGNITION SWITCH" and "coil power supply" terminal of "START RELAY #1" on the "FAM". |
