Measure the voltage between "Power" terminal of the "FUEL PUMP MOTOR" harness connector and chassis ground.
■ Specification : B+
Disconnect "FUEL PUMP MOTOR" connector and remove "FUEL PUMP RELAY".
Connect jump wire directly to switch terminals to operate a fuel pump.
Measure the voltage between "Power" terminal of the "FUEL PUMP MOTOR" harness connector and chassis ground.
■ Specification : B+
Is voltage measured within the specification?
 | ▶ Go to "Fuel pump ground circuit inspection" procedure as below. |
 | ▶ Repair "FUEL PUMP FUSE 15A" open/poor connection ▶ Repair open/poor connection/short to ground between "Power" terminal of "FUEL PUMP RELAY" on the "FAM" and "Power" terminal of the "FUEL PUMP MOTOR" harness connector. |
Disconnect "FUEL PUMP MOTOR" connector and remove "FUEL PUMP RELAY".
Connect jump wire directly to switch terminals to operate a fuel pump.
Measure the voltage between "Power" and "Ground" terminal of the "FUEL PUMP MOTOR" harness connector.
■ Specification : B+
Is voltage measured within the specification?
| ▶ The fuel pump circuit is OK. |
| ▶ Repair open/poor connection between "Ground" terminal of the "FUEL PUMP MOTOR" harness connector and chassis ground. |
