1.
Measure the voltage between "Coil power supply" terminal of "FUEL PUMP RELAY" on the "FAM" and chassis ground at IG key "ON" after removing "FUEL PUMP RELAY".
■ Specification : B+
Measure the voltage between "Coil power supply" terminal of "FUEL PUMP RELAY" on the "FAM" and chassis ground at IG key "ON" after removing "FUEL PUMP RELAY".
■ Specification : B+
Is measured voltage within specification?
 | ▶ Go to "Fuel pump relay control circuit inspection" procedure as below. |
 | ▶ Repair open/poor connection between "Coil power supply" terminal of "FUEL PUMP RELAY" on the "FAM" and the "MAIM RELAY_swtch" terminal. |
Connect probe of the LED volt circuit tester to "Coil control" terminal of "FUEL PUMP RELAY" on the "FAM".
☞ Connect red tongs of the LED volt circuit tester to battery (+).
Perform "Fuel pump relay actuation test" by using GDS.
Monitor LED tester lamp state.
■ Specification : LED tester lamp is "ON" when Fuel pump relay is operated by actuation test.
Is the LED volt circuit tester lit (When fuel pump relay is operated by actuation test) ?
| ▶ The fuel pump relay circuit is OK. |
| ▶ Repair open/poor connection between "Coil control" terminal of "FUEL PUMP RELAY" on the "FAM" and "Fuel Pump Relay Control" terminal of the "ECM" harness connector. |
