First of all, Inspect the vehicle status. If engine starting is impossible, there are lots of causes.
Inspect that warning lamps on the cluster must be "ON" , engine cranking is possible (starter is normal) and engine cranking rpm is regular at IG key "START (engine cranking)".
Make sure a selector lever of the Automatic Transaxle should be "P (N)".
