Select "ENGINE (DIESEL)".
Turn ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect the rail pressure regulator valve connector.
Measure resistance between terminal 1 and 2 of the valve.
Check that the resistance is within the specification.
Specification: Refer to "SPECIFICATION"
After replacing the Rail Pressure Regulator Valve, MUST perform the “COMPONENT CHANGE ROUTINE” procedure. Otherwise trouble related with engine performance or emission control may occur until ECM learning about the component is over.
Turn ignition switch OFF.
Connect a scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC).
Turn ignition switch ON.
Select "ENGINE (DIESEL)".
Select "COMPONET CHANGE ROUTINE".
Select "PRESSURE REGULATING VALVE CHANGE".
Confirm the message, and then press "ENTER" key.
Confirm the "Complete" message, and then turn ignition switch OFF.
Wait for more than 10 seconds, and then turn ignition switch ON.
